It is the people on the team, led by you, who will achieve the objectives. It is your team who will expand your observational capabilities, alert to trends, observations, conflicts and challenges. It is the people on your team, together, who will deliver that Return on the Investment, and enable the change you envision.
And therein lies one challenge: There are as many opinions, ways of proceeding, idea-generators and inspiration makers, styles and approaches as there are people on the team. Your challenge is creating the focus, gaining the commitment, inspiring the motivation to intelligently navigate towards the end-goal - cohesively!
Because your team is a group of individuals, this program takes a Human-, and Achievement-focused approach that will help you to maximize and leverage all the talent on the team.
Leveraging the work of key researchers & topical expertise, threaded through with years of leadership experience and delivered through coaching, participants tailor the information to their own strengths and circumstances, embed what they learn, try new approaches and behaviours, and through an iterative approach and coaching, develop frameworks that work for them, using their individual strengths in their specific environments.
This highly interactive program is designed to enable every participating leader and leadership team to lead into ambiguity and change with confidence. Delivered in 3 parts, with one-on-one coaching for all participants.
EXPLORE the foundational components of effective people-leadership that enables the leader to achieve the goals, empower and grow the team. We examine the internal disruptors that hinder leaders, as well as the intrinsic influence played by the power-imbalance between leaders and their team members. We explore the behaviours and characteristics that support each leader as they build the foundational components of a resilient team, and begin to build the framework that enables team clarity and accountability. This section can also be used to enable the new or middle leader.
EXPAND on the foundational components of EXPLORE to EXPAND the capacity and capabilities of the leader and team by developing the behaviours and environment that will support the creation of a Creative, Innovative and Resilient workplace. Recognizing that the external disruptors, such as Change, will provoke the internal disruptors and intrinsic influencers, we continue to strengthen the behaviours, characteristics and practices that enable resilience.
By the end of this section participants will understand the critical role of trust and psychological safety and have a personalized framework to begin to built that creative, innovative and courageous space where the strengths of the entire team are enabled.
EXCEL. Build the capacity to lead into ambiguity and change. Utilize the Power tools of the transformative leader: Professional Candor, Professional Feedback and the Power of Productive Disagreement.
Throughout the program each participant develops their own individual and specific frameworks, guidelines and strategies to enable them to develop, with the team, the culture and practices of a Creative and Innovative team that to responds nimbly and Resiliently to disruption and change.
The goal is Leaders who confidently create and lead teams that are high-value, creative, innovative and resilient in change.
Program Delivery in 3 Parts
Individual Modules: 24 weeks, 12 topic modules in total (5 EXPLORE, 4 EXPAND, and 3 EXCEL), alternating with with coaching to enable participants to embed what is learned in a personal and practical manner in their specific work environment. Each section can be taken separately, sequentially. Can be delivered to single participants or to small cohorts.
Workshops: Each section delivered in 2 half-day workshops with up to 3 one-on-one coaching sessions between and after the workshops to enable participants to embed what has been learned and developed in the workshops effectively in their individual work environment.
